New cost estimates show extending the runway at Heathrow is the cheapest option for airport expansion
The new analysis, submitted to the Department for Transport, shows the cost of our scheme has reduced to £9.7 billion, a third less than Heathrow Airport Limited’s own estimate for their third runway of £15.6 billion.
